Occupation:
I am a hair stylist. I love making people feel good about themselves and giving them confidence, its the best feeling. It’s amazing that’s why I do it.
What is your style inspiration?
I would say classic modern with a little twist of English street fashion. Every day is different for me. When I wake up it depends on how I feel that day or the music I put on the first thing in the morning. The inspiration comes from within for me.
How long have you lived in the city?
I moved here 12 years ago from the Philippines, I’ve lived her half my life I’m 24 now.
How do you think your life has changed from moving here?
Moving here opened up a whole new world for me. This city has influenced me in all aspects of life, nature, fashion, music, lifestyle, people and everything that you see from the outside. But I always carried my traits and values in life. This city is such a beautiful city, so much culture and uniqueness to be not inspired. It taught me many life lessons that I will carry on to my next chapter in life, and this city made me the better person I am today.
What does the city mean to you?
This city is a representation of everything that I am today. I consider this my home although I've only lived here half of my life, it made me who I am.
Favorite Neighborhood:
I would have to say the Mission; all the restaurants, I love going there and Dolores Park is there, I love the vibe on Valencia especially and all of the boutiques.
Favorite spot:
I love going to Dolores Park, I feel like everyone goes there. I love the view of the park and I feel like you get to be free and you can do whatever you want, it’s relaxing.
Favorite Stylist:
I love Nick Arojo. I love the way he recreated the bob, its super edgy. I love the distressed hairstyles.
People that inspire you in the city:
Brandon Tran creator of Dopensteez street style blog on Instagram, he is very very edgy and fashion forward he has good taste in street fashion and Eduardo Zambrano, He makes and designs clothes. I look up to him he has really rich taste, very minimalistic but still fashionable.
